Saxons’ season ends with loss at ECAC South Championships

The Alfred University softball team saw its 2013 season end with a 7-4 loss to Stevenson in a game that began Saturday, was halted by rain, and concluded Sunday morning.

The Alfred University-Stevenson elimination game in the ECAC South championship tournament was delayed due to rain Saturday. The game between the fifth-seeded Saxons and sixth-seeded Stevenson will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday with Stevenson leading 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth. When the game restarts, Alfred will be batting with runners on second and third with one out.
