ALFRED, NY — Two members of the Alfred University men’s and women’s Alpine ski teams have earned all-conference recognition.

Steve Barton (Dansville, NY/Dansville), a senior on the AU men’s team, and Holly Mager (Warsaw, NY/Warsaw), a freshman on the Saxons’ women’s team, were both named to the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA) Mideast Conference Second Team.

The Saxons wrapped up the 2013 season the weekend of Feb. 23 and 24 at the USCSA Mideast Region championships.
