ITHACA, NY — Alfred University’s men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams will compete Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22 and 23, at the New York State championship meet, hosted by Ithaca College.

Alfred is among 12 schools competing in the two-day meet. A complete meet schedule, meet program and link to live results can be accessed at the Championship Website.

AU junior Rebecca Graudons (Mayfield, NY/Mayfield) is the returning champion in the pole vault. She holds the New York State indoor championship record of 3.58 meters, set at last seasons’s championship meet at Hamilton College.

Among the Saxon men’s top returnees is senior Shane Stadtmueller (Red Creek, NY/Red Creek). He placed fifth in last year’s indoor heptathlon with a school-record 4,032 points.
