ALFRED, NY — The Alfred University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will each play a pair of Empire 8 Conference road games this weekend, which will be broadcast live in the internet.

The AU women’s team plays at Stevens Institute of Technology at 6 p.m. Friday (Jan. 11), with the men’s game to follow at 8 p.m. On Saturday (Jan.12), the women’s team plays at Hartwick at 2 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 4 p.m. Live video webcasts of all four games will be shown on Empire 8 TV.

The AU women are 4-8 overall (0-4 Empire 8) after Tuesday’s home loss to Elmira. The Alfred men defeated Elmira Tuesday to improve to 1-3 in conference games (3-9 overall).
