Mateo Munoz
Graduate Assistant Coach

Mateo Munoz is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the men's soccer team, serving as the Saxons' assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer. Munoz is a 2004 graduate of the University of Redlands (CA), where he earned a bachelor's degree in international relations and business administration. He played four seasons as a golakeeper on the Redlands soccer team (2000-03), helping the Bulldogs to three SCIAC conference titles (2001-03) and an NCAA Division III championship tournament runner-up finish in 2001. He played professionally for one season (2004) for Alicante Club de Futobal, a Third Division B Team in Alicante, Spain. His previous coaching experience includes work with SoccerPlus camps; as associate varsity head coach at Scotts Valley (CA) High School (2007-08); and club trainer for U-11 and U-15 players with the Scotts Valley San Lorenzo Valley, CA (SV/SLV) Soccer Club. He is seeking a master's in business administration from AU.
