Saxon cross country teams compete at Empire 8 meet

The Alfred University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed Saturday at the Empire 8 Conference championships. The AU men placed eighth on the 8-kilometer course and the Saxon women were eighth on the three-mile course.

The Alfred University men’s and women’s cross country teams each placed 12^th at the New York State championship meet Saturday, hosted by Nazareth College.

The Alfred University cross country teams competed Saturday at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by Houghton College. The Saxon men’s team placed 13^th on an eight-kilometer course and the AU women’s team was 11^th on a five-kilometer track.
