Shawn Ross The junior from Ticonderoga, NY, won the shot put at the Empire 8 Conference indoor track and field championships and earned First Team Empire 8 all-conference honors. It marks the second straight year Ross has won an Empire 8 indoor title in the shot put.
Courtney Lincoln The junior guard from Waterloo, NY, averaged 9.3 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal as the women’s basketball team won two of three Empire 8 games last week. Her three-point play with 23 seconds left lifted the Lady Saxons to a 76-74 victory over visiting RIT.
